Wallilabou, die Bucht der Piraten

In Wallilabou blieben wir nur zwei Tage, da es täglich mehrmals regnete. Wir haben  die Reste der Pirates oft he Caribian Sets besichtigt, die in der Bucht vor sich hingammeln. Doch zuvor war Bina schon richtig sauer.

Nein, nicht auf mich sondern auf Bacoy, den Boat Boy. Wir sind die dreissig Meter mit dem Dingi zum Strand gerudert, da hat er schon auf uns gewartet, um uns kostenpflichtig zu „helfen“. Wir warten wir auf eine Welle, ich rudere so hoch wie möglich auf den Strand, wenn das Wasser zurückfliest steigt Bina mit der Dingileine aus und hält es fest, damit es nicht wieder weggeschwemmt wird. Dann steige ich aus und gemeinsam ziehen wir das Dingi höher ans Ufer. Normalerweise eine trockene Angelegenheit, hundertmal geübt. Nur mit „Hilfe“ lief es etwas anders. Unser Boat Boy stand immer im Weg, als die Welle kam hielt er das Dingi fest, wir waren noch zu weit im Wasser, die nächste Welle kam und umspülte Binas Allerwertesten. Erst dann hat er das Dingi soweit auf den Strand gezogen, das wir aussteigen konnten. Dann versprach er uns auf das Dingi aufzupassen, bis wir wieder da sind.

Wir fotografierten in den Kulissen und gingen dann die Straße entlang Richtung Wasserfall, der auf der Karte ca. 2km landeinwärts eingezeichnet war. Wer kam uns auf der Straße entgegen: Natürlich Bacoy, gleich versicherte er uns, ein Freund würde derzeit gerade auf unser Beiboot aufpassen. Der Wasserfall entpuppte sich dann als drei Meter hohes Fällchen, eingezäunt mit Freizeitpark rundherum. Da es gerade wieder regnete sind wir noch die Straße weiter hoch und haben uns den Bach weiter oben angeschaut. Danach schauten wir noch auf einer Obstplantage vorbei, Bina hat für uns Muskatnüsse gesammelt, die überall auf dem Boden lagen. Also bis 2015 brauchen wir keine mehr zu kaufen. Beim Rückweg die Straße runter kam uns wieder unser Boat Boy entgegen, er „guidete“ gerade eine ahnungslose Chartercrew im Regen zum Wasserfall. Sofort wurde uns wieder vesichert ein Friend…….usw.

Als wir wieder am Strand waren, war unser Dingi noch da, aber kein Friend weit und breit. Nun so sind wir halt wieder an Bord gerudert. Abends habe ich dann bei einer freundlichen Lady, die ihr Büro in einem der Sets hat ausklariert, damit wir am nächsten Morgen gleich weiter segeln können.
