Gewittrige Zeiten
22 Juni, 2018 | Kategorie: Segeln 2009 | 81 KommentareIn der Nacht von Donnerstag auf Freitag ziehen erste Gewitter über das ionische Meer. Wir ankern geschützt in der Tranquilbay, rund um uns mittelhohe Hügel, auf der Nydriseite steigen die Berge auf fast 1000m Höhe an. Obwohl wir nur 80 m von der Durchfahrt in die Vlychobay entfernt sind, finden die meisten Böen nicht den Weg zu uns, das Ankergeschirr wird keiner Belastungsprobe unterzogen. In der Früh schöpft Sabina 10 cm Wasser aus dem Schlauchboot, bevor sich nach Nydri fährt. Ich halte solange am Schiff Wache, weil sich schon wieder Gewitter zusammenbrauen. Keine halbe Stunde nach Sabinas`s Rückkehr fängt es erneut an. ALs die Gewitter nach drei Stunden weiterziehen schöpfe ich fast 20 cm Wasser aus dem Dingi. Etwas Gutes hat die ganze Sache, Squib ist komplett Süßwasser gespült, auch die Segel. Während der Nacht sitzen wir bis weit nach Mitternacht auf den Stufen in die Rümpfe, möglichst weit vom Mast entfernt, da andauernd Blitze in 1 -2 km Entfernung einschlagen. Unser britisches Nachbarboot wird abgetrieben und vertreibt auf eine deutsche Elan 33, die an einer Mooring vertäut ist. Dessen Eigner hat in weiser Voraussicht ein paar Fender rausgehängt, bevor er das Schiff verlassen hat. Es war dann kein größerer Schaden, nur das englische Boot hat seine Buglaterne an der Reling des anderen Bootes abgebrochen.
Samstag ist das Gröbste vorbei, wir fahren beide in die Stadt, am Rückweg klopfen wir bei einem österreichischem Boot an, das ungefähr 120 m von uns entfernt ankert. Wir laden Ruth und Franz von der Dorado für ein Plauscherl am Nachmittag ein. Der Nachmittag mit den Beiden vergeht dann wie im Flug, wir tauschen seglerische Erfahrungen aus, Franz erzählt, das wir in der Aktio Marina fast nebeneinander überwintert haben. In der Nacht geht es dann wieder mit den Gewittern los, diesmal sehe ich sogar wie ein Blitz unmittelbar neben uns in den Berg einschlägt, vielleicht 300m Entfernung bis dorthin. Immer wieder checken wir das Satellitenbild auf Wetteronline, ob sich verlagerungstendenzen abzeichnen, Erst um halb 2 sind die Gewitter soweit abgezogen, dass an Schlaf zu denken ist, Sonntag kommt auch die Sonne gegen Mittag heraus und wir gehen abends mit Ruth und Franz in Nydri essen. Wir sitzen direkt an einem Tischchen am Strand, keine fünf Meter vom Wasser entfernt, direkt an der Promenade. Der Abend ist sehr gelungen, bei den Schlauchbooten verabschieden wir uns, beide Crews wollen am nächsten Tag weitersegeln. Doch Monntag vormittag regnet es immer wieder ein wenig und so manchen wir uns für den Abend ein weiteres Treffen aus und verbringen einen netten Abend in einer Taverne der zweiten Reihe, die komplett unter Weinranken verborgen ist. Diesmal verabschieden wir uns dann wirklich den Dienstag möchten wir definitif wieder ein Stück weiter.
