Also segeln wir wieder mal am Wind. Allerdings bläst er so leicht, dass wir nicht wie sonst durchgebeutelt werden. Um 14 h runden wir Pte. du Vieux Fort und sehen einen schönen Sandstrand hinter dem Kap. Zwei Segelschiffe ankern bereits hier. Wir lassen unseren Anker in das türkisblaue Wasser fallen. Petit Terre

Von der Marina Bas du Fort sind wir in sechs Stunden nach Petit Terre gefahren. Petit Terre liegt ca sechs Meilen vor der Ostspitze von Guadeloupe. Es besteht aus zwei Inseln zwischen denen eine Lagune liegt, die von einem Riff gegen die Wellen des Atlantiks abgeschirmt wird. Das ganze Gebiet ist ein Naturpark, ankern ist verboten. Dafür liegen Bojen in der Lagune an denen man festmachen kann. Weil die Einfahrt nur um die zwei Meter tief ist, wird die Inselgruppe nur von Booten mit wenig Tiefgang angelaufen. Wir schlendern gerade über die Promenade in Elisabeth Town, Bequia. Kleine Geschäfte in netten Holzhäusern, meist Boutiquen oder Souvenirläden, auf der Promenade Obststände und selbstgemachtes Kunsthandwerk.
